Arun is a respected community leader. He chairs the Basingstoke Multicultural Forum and restored it to financial prosperity. He is the perfect fit for a ward of Brookvale and Kings Furlong's diversity. He brings people together and promotes community spirit and understanding.
Arun has lived in Basingstoke for the past 15 years, and currently lives in Brookvale and Kings Furlong with his wife and two daughters. He is a school governor in KIngs Furlong, making him a local resident ready to be your local Councillor.
In his professional life, Arun is an Information Security expert - an important business sector for Basingstoke. He is is a business post-graduate from the University of Winchester.
Arun is one of the most committed community leaders we have in Basingstoke. He has helped raise thousands of pounds for charitable and community causes. He believes that all children have the right to education. He teaches subjects like Maths, Verbal Reasoning and analytical skills, as well as running free summer educational camps.
He helps to organise the World Party in the Park, Interfaith walks and International Language days and was recently invited to 10 Downing Street for their Diwali celebrations, in recognition of his community work.

- More permanent classrooms at KIngs Furlong school
- Work with Cranbourne School to continue their journey of improvement
- Improve parking for local doctors' surgeries
- Address air quality concerns in the town centre
- Generate more parking spaces for residents
- Clean up the garage blocks
- Support a community hub at the top of the town.
