Maria Miller MP at Work Based University Event at BCoT

MARIA MILLER, MP VISITS COPPICE SPRING SCHOOL

Maria recently visited Coppice Spring School in Pack Lane, Basingstoke. Coppice Spring is a special school for children aged 11 to 16 with social and emotional needs. Since 2014 it has been an academy sponsored by the Delta Education Trust.

Maria recently visited the Basingstoke offices of Cobham Helicopter Services, which is part of Cobham plc, a global technology and services business. Maria said: “I was delighted to visit Cobham Helicopter Services, having met them at the Farnborough Air Show earlier this year. They are another great example of a leading global company choosing to make its base in Basingstoke."

As part of a series of meetings with local businesses and other organisations to discuss the implications of Brexit, Maria Miller recently called in at Queen Mary College and BCOT to hear the views of the students.

Maria recently visited Basingstoke company, Harris Defence Limited. The company is a Global provider of mission-critical communication products, systems and services to both government and commercial customers.

MARIA MILLER, MP HEARS ABOUT LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AT BLATCHFORD

Maria recently visited the Basingstoke headquarters of Blatchford, a world leading manufacturer of prosthetics and orthotics.

She met CEO Adrian Stenson, Technical Director Professor Saeed Zahedi, and Head of Marketing Helen Clark. She toured the factory at the Houndmills site, and was shown the newest development, Linx, which is the first fully integrated lower limb system with microprocessor control.
