BASINGSTOKE MP JOINS THE MAYOR AT THE CAFE DOME

Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke, was pleased to join the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Dan Putty, at the recent opening of a new patio area at the Cafe Dome in Brighton Hill.

MARIA WELCOMES EXTRA MONEY FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL PE AND SPORT

Basingstoke MP Maria Miller, who is also Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, has welcomed the Government announcement that primary schools in Basingstoke will get an additional £315,250 in funding from September 2013 to encourage and support schools PE and sport.

MARIA WELCOMES STRONGER LOCAL SUPPORT FOR ARMED FORCES COMMUNITY

Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke, has welcomed news that a 'Community Covenant' will be signed by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and representatives of the charitable and voluntary sectors and other members of the civilian community, and representatives of the local Armed Forces community.
