Maria Miller has praised local students for the hard work that has gone into their GCSE results, which were released this week. She said: “All our local students are to be congratulated for the effort they have put in to achieving their GCSE results, both those who have done exceptionally well, and those who have have made real progress to produce a grade that might earlier have seemed beyond them.”
“Credit must also go to the great teachers and support staff in Basingstoke’s schools, for their commitment and dedication. They have worked so hard to ensure their students were able to fulfil their potential at this important time.”
