To mark World Mental Health day on Saturday 10 October, Maria Miller welcomed funding from The National Lottery Community Fund has made available to support mental health projects in Basingstoke.
Maria Miller said, ‘I am so pleased to welcome the funding that the National Lottery Community Fund have provided to support mental health projects in Basingstoke. As we celebrate World Mental Health day, it is important that those struggling with their mental health and wellbeing know they are not alone and support is available to them in Basingstoke.’
The National Lottery Community Fund has contributed £265011 to support 7 mental health related projects over the past 5 years in Basingstoke.
The Fund’s programme recently received an additional £8.7m to enable it to provide support to communities as the UK recovers from COVID-19.
