Local MP, Maria Miller, called in at Brighton Hill Community College for an update from Head Teacher Charlie Currie.
Mr Currie outlined the progress that the school has been making. He told Maria that an Ofsted Inspector had carried out a monitoring visit the previous week, in order to assess the school’s progress since the previous full Ofsted inspection. The Inspector’s report, soon to be published on the Ofsted website, was favourable and shows that the school is now on the right trajectory and is therefore set fair for further good work and progress.
Maria said: “I am delighted to hear about the progress that has been made at Brighton Hill Community College over a very short amount of time, and it is fantastic news that things are really getting back on track here.”
Maria added: “Mr Currie, supported by the Interim Executive Board, has made important headway at Brighton Hill.”
