Maria visited Basingstoke Law Courts in London Road recently, where she met senior Court Service officials and was given a tour of the complex. She also had the opportunity to sit in on proceedings in the Magistrates Court.  Maria said: “I was pleased to visit the Law Courts and see how the building has been enlarged and improved to provide four courtrooms and good facilities for those using the courts.  We are very fortunate in having a strong team of magistrates locally as well as a committed team of officials and volunteers, working together to ensure that the justice system functions smoothly here.”
