Maria recently visited the Basingstoke offices of Cobham Helicopter Services, which is part of Cobham plc, a global technology and services business.  She was welcomed by Duncan Milne, Managing Director of Cobham Helicopter Services, and his senior management team. Maria was briefed by them on the company’s capabilities - providing helicopter operations, training and support for defence, government and commercial customers around the world.

Maria said: “I was delighted to visit Cobham Helicopter Services, having met them at the Farnborough Air Show earlier this year. They are another great example of a leading global company choosing to make its base in Basingstoke.  I am talking to a wide range of businesses in Basingstoke about the possible impacts on them of the UK leaving the EU, and I was very interested to hear their thoughts on this too.”
