MARIA MILLER MP VISITS STRATTON PARK MEN’S SHED

Basingstoke MP Maria Miller visited Stratton Park Men’s Shed during Green week. The Men’s Shed gives men in Buckskin, South Ham and Kempshott a social place to meet and use their skills. Maria met with members and discussed the importance of a place where men could meet to pursue practical skills and enjoy making and mending.

Maria commented; “It was wonderful to visit The Stratton Park Men’s Shed and see first hand a place where men can make friends, share skills and knowledge. Members were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about the benefits of meeting, socialising and using practical skills.
