MP Maria Miller met with parishioners from St Bede’s Church in Basingstoke to discuss a wide range of issues. The virtual Q and A covered topics such as International Aid, Environmental issues and the importance of working together as a community both locally, Nationally and Internationally.
Maria commented;
“ It was great to be able to discuss such a wide range of issue with Parishioners at St Bede’s. The pandemic has clearly demonstrated the need for us to pull together on a local, national and international level. I was also very grateful to have the opportunity to meet the St Bede’s community during a period which has been so hard for so many people but has also shone a light on the strength of the Basingstoke community in pulling together to help one another.”
