Basingstoke MP, Maria Miller Visited Basingstoke Sports Trust in the Town Centre after its re-opening in early August. The Sports Centre was forced to close during the Covid-19 Lockdown.

Maria met with Chief Executive James Starbuck who took her on a tour of the facilities to show her the new Social distancing/safety measures put in place.

Maria commented ; “ It was great to see all of the measures put in place by James and the Team. The Gym, Pool and studios have all been adapted to ensure people can exercise safely. The staff have worked really hard to ensure that members feel confident about returning to exercise. Covid-19 has highlighted the need for us all to stay as active as we can.”
